Sjani (Thoughts) is an annual scientific journal of literary theory and comparative literature, published in Georgia in both print and online formats.

The journal’s main aim is to increase awareness of the key issues and topics of modern literary theory. It seeks to promote scholarly discussion of important themes and problems in contemporary literary studies and publish original, previously unpublished research.

The journal also aims to encourage both established scholars and younger researchers from around the world to contribute to the field. Through a high-quality blind peer-review system, an international editorial board, and wide visibility in academic databases, Sjani provides an accessible platform for diverse and high-level scholarly exchange.

The journal publishes articles in Georgian and English. All submissions are evaluated through a blind peer-review process.
