Tamar Lomidze

Tamar Lomidze – PhD, Senior researcher at the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature; Honorary Emeritus of Ilia State University, member of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association GCLA. Tamar Lomidze is a laureate of the award named after Grigol Kiknadze in the field of literature and the “Anna“ Prize for literary translations of contemporary American and English literature.. She is the author of several monographs and about 70 scientific articles. Tamar Lomidze is a member of the editorial board of the international academic journal Sjani. Area of research interests: History of Georgian Literature, Theory of Georgian Verse, Comparative literature.
